Summary:
Sakura Kinomoto, just an average school girl (of course), was at her house one day after school. She herd a strange noise coming from the basement and went check it out since neither her father nor her brother weren't around. So she goes on ahead in the basement, and comes across a book called 'The Clow'. Sakura was unaware that powerful Clow Cards where inside, so she opened it and read the first card, The Windy, and all of a sudden a strong gust of wind blew all the cards away except the one in her hand... The Windy. Startled, Sakura dropped the book and Cerberus (Kero for short), the beast guardian of The Clow book, appeared.
Kero, the seal beast, turns her into the Card Captor so she can capture the lost cards to prevent a disaster from happening(though it's not what you may expect). Each card has a different ability or power form, a humanoid/animal-like form, and it's original card form. Sakura must use previously captured cards to return each one to it's true form, and then use her seal cane to seal it into it's card form. Card Captor Sakura follows Sakura and her family and friends through day to day life and her adventures capturing the cards. Tomoyo(Madison), Sakura's best friend, tags along and records the Card Captor Sakura on video.
